Greg Hohnen first joined the Killara team at the age of 16 in 1973 as Assistant Professional under David Mercer, and became Head PGA Professional Killara Golf Club in 1995.

He played full time on the Australian Tour between 1975 and 1979. After 1980 although continuing participating in many main tour events, he devoted more time to his teaching career and Club Professional Shop duties.

Being a professional coach, Greg Hohnen’s association with Killara Golf Club is one of the longest standing as a PGA Professional. And as a widely renowned professional coach in Australia, he was ranked in the Top 50 coaches by “Golf Digest”.
